Expected results

• Rapid assessment of existing HPAI surveillance systems (including identification of short term training and risk targeting needs) in target countries.

• Development and dissemination of effective tools for targeting HPAI surveillance resources, using risk-based approaches, and build capacity for using and producing these tools.

• Target trainings conducted in HPAI surveillance techniques, tools and approaches, including outbreak reporting and data analysis.

• Develop linkages with sub-regional and regional surveillance, disease investigation and learning networks on EDRS-AIA.
