African Partnership for Livestock Development, Poverty Alleviation and Sustainable Growth

   

ALive is a partnership of regional and international institutions, civil society, donors, research and training institutes involved in livestock development in sub-Saharan Africa.

ALive aims to use the improvement of the livestock sector for poverty alleviation and sustainable economic growth in Africa.

ALive Secretariat

The ALive Secretariat, located at the World Bank in Washington is in charge of communications around ALive's activity. Website

The Director AU/IBAR presently chairs the executive committee of the ALive platform.

Dr Germain Bobo is charged with setting up an antenna office of the secretariat within AU/IBAR in Nairobi.
