Topic: The State of the Livestock Sector in Africa: Improving the contribution of Livestock Research for Development to Poverty Reduction through greater donor coordination
The Inter-Agency Donor Group (IADG) has met annually for the past 11 years in various European locations; it has been successful in informing donors involved in pro-poor livestock research on contemporary issues in need of collaborative research funding.
For the first time, the annual IADG meeting will be held in Africa and co-organized with the ALive platform hosted by AU-IBAR.
