International Ministerial Conference on Avian and Pandemic Influenza
New Delhi, 6 December 2007. Exactly one year after the International Conference on Avian Influenza convened by IBAR in Bamako, the Indian government successfully brought together about 700 delegates including 68 ministers to discuss the latest achievements.

Achievements and Sustainability of Major EU-sponsored Animal Health Programme
Nairobi, 6 Sept 2007 - With an official handover the Pan-African Programme for the Control of Epizootics (PACE) was concluded. Altogether the seven-year programme trained more than two million veterinarans, vet students and community health workers.
Support Programme to Integrated National Action Plans for Avian and Human Influenza
In May 2007, IBAR and the European Commission entered a partnership to help African countries in their fight against influenza. The Support Programme to Integrated National Action Plans for Human and Avian Influenza (SPINAP-AHI), with a budget of Euro 21.5 million, being implemented over a period of 36 months in 47 African ACP countries.
