Support to AU Member States to rollout the joint management plans, Protocols and the harmonized Regional frameworks in shared Marine ecosystems for conserving aquatic biodiversity and environment

The objective of the consultative workshop is to support the Democratic Republic of Congo and the Republic of the Congo to develop harmonized strategies for management of transboundary Marine Ecosystems (Gulf of Guinea Current Large Marine Ecosystems). The main purpose of this assignment is to provide technical assistance to the two AU Member States: the Democratic Republic of Congo and the Republic of the Congo for revision of existing National Instruments, to align with and mainstream the consultancy report recommendations on harmonized Regional strategies for conservation of aquatic biodiversity and environment management including frameworks, the joint management plans and Protocols for conserving aquatic biodiversity and environmental management in shared marine aquatic ecosystem of the Atlantic Ocean.
