Invitation for Bids

Sale of Motor Vehicles and Motorcycle

Procurement Number: IBAR/DISP/2026/003

AU-IBAR wishes to dispose of three (3) motor vehicles and one (1) motorcycle and invites sealed bids from interested parties for the same.

Inspection

Bidding is open to all interested parties. Interested bidders may inspect the items to be purchased at the address and times listed below:

Address: AU-IBAR, Kenindia Business Park, African Union Close
Off Westlands Road, Nairobi, Kenya.

Submission of Bids

Bids must be delivered physically and dropped off in a sealed envelope with the title Sale of Motor Vehicles & Motorcycle at the designated tender box at AU-IBAR offices, Kenindia Business Park, African Union Close, off Westlands Road, Nairobi, Kenya.  
Digital Submissions of bids will not be accepted.

THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF OFFERS IS 15:00HRS EAST AFRICAN TIME ON FRIDAY 22ND MAY 2026.
BIDS RECEIVED AFTER THIS DEADLINE WILL BE REJECTED.

All bids must be accompanied by:

1. A bid form in the form attached.
2. Copies of identification document (for individual) or registration documents (for firm).
3. Signed declaration on exclusion criteria in the form attached.
4. Completed offer indicating price offered per item.
5. Confirmation that the price offered shall remain valid for a period of 30 calendar days from the closing date.
6. A Bid Bond or Banker’s Cheque equivalent to 10% of each individual bid or vehicle for which the bidder is submitting an offer.

Note: bidders may bid for one or more vehicles/motorcycles, PROVIDED THAT bidders submit itemised bids for each vehicle/motorcycle.

Opening of bids  

 Bids will be opened and evaluated from Friday 22ND MAY 2026 at 16:00hrs. 
Bidders will be informed of the outcome upon completion of the evaluation process.
