Overview

The University of Ghana’s Department of Marine and Fisheries Sciences is housed within the School of Biological Sciences under the College of Basic and Applied Sciences. The Department supports teaching, research and training in fisheries, aquaculture, coastal management and marine science, contributing to Ghana’s capacity in sustainable aquatic resource management, fish production, fish processing and marine environmental protection.
